Lunchtime Chinese Lessons

Come join AAJA for our first lunchtime Chinese lesson this Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 12:15 p.m. in the Stabile Student Center.
Jenna Dagenhart and Alfred Miller will lead us with vocabs and phrases journalists might need out on the field. All skill-levels are welcome.


AAJA and AMEJA Present War Zone Photographer Nicole Tung


Award-winning photojournalist Nicole Tung will be presenting her work and talking about her experience in Libya and Syria, with a focus on the civilian plight.

She will be addressing the dangers and difficulties of covering Syria as a freelancer, and how she has managed to do it until now.

Nicole Tung studied journalism and history (NYU ‘09) and freelances for the New York Times and other international newspapers and magazines.

Since 2011, she is covering the Arab revolutions in North Africa and the Middle East.
